What am I buying?

You are purchasing an printable PDF file that allows you to customize text fields to personalize the invitation. You won’t be receving any physical item, because who has time to wait on the mail?

Do you take custom orders or super special requests?

The beauty of our templates is the ability to customize them at home! This means no waiting, no turnaround time, and instant gratification! Our plan is to offer beautifully designed templates that look like they were made just for you after customizing them. We can help out with custom orders, so feel free to ask!

Computer Stuff

What do I need to get started?

All you need is Adobe Reader, which is free and available here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/! Open one of our PDF templates in Adobe Reader and fill out the text fields, like filling out a form. You don’t need to install fonts, you don’t need some expensive program, just get Adobe Reader, personalize, and print!

Will all of my text fit?

Templates are made to accommodate a very reasonable amount of text, such that you shouldn’t have any problems. So unless your name is super long, like: Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso, you should be fine!

Can I change colors, artwork, graphics, or add images?

At this time, no, but we’re looking into adding more custom features!

Printing & Finishing

I filled out the templates, what now?

Print out your finished template at home, or at a local printer like Staples, Office Max, or FedEx Kinko’s! We recommend a matte white card stock, 110lb paper weight will come out great!

Will the colors print out just like on my computer screen?

There are going to be differences in color between your monitor and your print. We’ve tested our invitations on a number of monitors and printers, but there are so many variations of screens and printers that it’s difficult to acheive the exact color reproduction. Color changes are dependent upon monitors, printers, printer settings, paper choice, etc.

What about trimming the templates?

All you need is a simple paper cutter or some scissors! If you’re making just invites, you should be done in 10 minutes or less!

Copyright release form? What’s that?

Some printers may ask you for a copyright release form. This is normal, and common policy amongst photographers and printers because it helps protect artists from filty pirates (ARRGH MATEY!). If you need one, click to download our copyright release PDF, print, sign, and done!

Terms of Use, & Other Serious Stuff

Can I share this template with others for their use?

Templates are for personal use only. Why not share our store with friends and family instead? 🙂

Can I use this template for commercial use, such as party planning, or can I sell them on my own?

Templates are for personal use only. We stay in business by working long hours to make beautiful, simple to use, graphic templates. Selling them on your own would be like stealing candy from a baby. Who does that?

Troubleshooting

I can’t edit the text! What do I do?

These templates will only work in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Make sure you’re opening them in Adobe Acrobat Reader, and not any other program, such as “Preview” on Macs, and internet browsers such as Google Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer. Windows 8 users, please be sure to be in the desktop version of Adobe Acrobat Reader and not in the APP version.

Fonts look different, and/or I’m seeing weird symbols instead of text? Wha’ happon?

Don’t fret! You’re using some other program than Adobe Acrobat Reader. Just be sure to open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader and the world will return back to normal.
